Florida’s Best Fall Events for RVers

Flyers

Florida RVer’s have plenty of events available throughout the year and it’s never too early to start making plans.

In preparation of anticipated traveling, a visit to RV Connections, a Panama City, FL, new and used RV dealer, has the inventory to satisfy every situation.

Festivals

Consider two music festivals scheduled at the Dixieland RV Park in Waldo. Bill Bailey’s Fall Gospel Jubilee is set for Thursday through Saturday, October 24-26 and features over 10 artists performing at the open-air pavilion. Shows begin at 7:30 on Thursday and Friday and 6pm on Saturday. Bring a lawn chair.

On October 30-31 and November 1-3, toes will be tapping at the 2013 Dixieland Fall Bluegrass Festival with multiple bands and solo artists performing. Dixieland RV Park has more than 300 campsites with full hookups, 30/50 amp, shaded sites, free WiFi and pull-thru sites. Pets are welcome and there’s a restaurant onsite if you don’t feel like cooking.

The Suwannee Hulaween Festival celebrates Halloween October 31-November 2 with 3 nights of musical performances at the Suwannee Music Park and Campground near Live Oak. The 500-acre park offers hiking, canoeing, wildlife observation, exhibits, an Arts and Crafts Village, and an onsite restaurant. RV sites have full hookups with water and electric and bath houses with hot showers.

Events

The Lake Mirror Classic Automobile Festival is celebrating its 14th year in downtown Lakeland October 18th through October 20th. On display will be over 600 show vehicles at the Lake Mirror Promenade. For car enthusiasts and collectors, this show is one not to be missed. The classic draws more than 35,000 spectators and features ongoing events over the 3 day event. Several RV campgrounds are less than 15 minutes away from the downtown area.

No matter where you plan to travel for an event, stop by RV Connections and take a look at the new and used RV’s, schedule a service check, or visit the parts and accessories department and select an outdoor lawn chair to take to a concert.
