January Farmers’ Markets
A huge perk of the warm weather in Panama City is that you can get fresh, local produce year round. Visit the St. Andrews Waterfront Market on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Grand Lagoon Waterfront Market on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Lynn Haven Farmers’ Market on Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., or the Bay County Farmers’ Market from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday. A number of other markets are held throughout the Panama City area too, so you can shop straight from Florida farms every day of the week.
Sister Act the Musical
Sister Act was a smash hit when it was released as a film in 1992, but the musical is arguably more entertaining. Sister Act the musical is guaranteed to be a show your entire family will enjoy. This new musical comedy will be presented at the Marina Civic Center on Jan. 13, 2015, and tickets are currently on sale on the center’s website.
Panama City Gem and Mineral Show
You don’t have to be a geology or jewelry buff to have the time of your life at the Panama City Gem and Mineral Show. The Bay County Fairgrounds will spring to life on Saturday, Jan. 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the exciting gem and mineral show featuring fossils, crystals, gems, wire wrapping, jewelry, exhibits, beads, a silent auction and tons of other exciting items and events.
