Once you’re ready to go, choosing a Florida vacation spot will be next on the list. Pick a location close to home or venture out on the open road to some of Florida’s most well-known areas for fun-in-the-sun.

East Coast

Florida’s east coast will keep you busy from St. Augustine – the oldest city in the US – to the Keys. Along the way, there’s Daytona Beach and its famous Boardwalk, the Kennedy Space Center in Melbourne, Fort Lauderdale’s beautiful beaches and beautiful people, and Miami’s South Beach area and nightlife. The Art Deco area, Little Havana’s culinary delights, and family attractions such as the Miami Zoo make this a “go to” Florida destination.

Key West

Heading out of Miami, keep going across the bridge all the way to Key West. Stop at cities that make up the keys such as Islamorada, Key Largo and Marathon to enjoy the cool waters for scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing. Visit Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park dating to the Civil War and take a boat ride to the Dry Tortugas.

West Coast

The Tampa Bay area has so many areas to visit. The St.Petersburg and Clearwater area has miles of golden beaches and the best seafood restaurants. Fort DeSoto has an ancient fort, Tarpon Springs has the sponge docks, Silver Springs for snorkeling, Tampa features Busch Gardens and Lowry Park Zoo, and Sarasota has pristine beaches and the Ringling Museum. These are just a few of the places you won’t want to miss.

The theme parks: Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, Legoland, Islands of Adventure, and Pleasure Island, to name a few, for family fun.

Plan a visit to RV Connections and let the friendly staff at this family owned RV dealership get you going in the right direction.

2013 Class A Forest River Georgetown 337XL Review

Forest River Georgetown Class A Motor Home

There are so many great places to visit in Florida and the rest of the states, and with a Georgetown motor home, you can take a ride in luxury and make memories that you and your family will never forget.

With a Ford V-10 gas engine, the 2013 Class A Forest River Georgetown 337XL is not only reliable, but also very comfortable with its soft bucket seats that recline and swivel. Additionally, the cab features a rear vision camera that makes backing up easy and gives you peace of mind knowing what’s behind you.

The interior design and floor plan of the Georgetown are made for the family experience. You have the vista lounge and sitting area with slide outs for space and comfort on the right as you step inside, and to the left you have large onyx counter top and sink covers with beautiful hardwood cabinets beneath and overhead in the kitchen.

The fine crafted cabinets don’t stop in the kitchen, but are throughout the whole motorhome to give you plenty of storage space. The soft tan colors of the seats and floors make for an outdoor feeling even inside. The stainless steel appliances sit elegantly in the light wood cabinets. The living room provides the comforts of home with a Leatherette Hide-a-Bed sofa, home theater, and 32″ LCD HDTV.

In the bathroom, a half-round shower door gives you plenty of room to enter the shower, and inside is big enough for your elbows. The bedroom sits at the back of unit and has a large bed with a thick mattress and overhead cabinets.

The exterior of the 2013 Georgetown 337XL has a classy look with its large front windshield, chrome wheels, and glossy paint that catches the eye. This motor home also features plenty of under storage space, and the ladder is bolted to the back of the unit for roof access so you can get it ready for its first voyage.

Forest River is known for its fine workmanship and excellent construction of the finest motor homes in the United States, so whether you are looking to buy your first motorhome from RV Connections or even your third, the Georgetown 337XL is a solid choice.
